T5/T6 Deeper Than Normal Sliding Door Step Cover Trim
A T5/T6 deeper than normal sliding door step .This item is made from Glassfibre and is a replica of the VW deeper step by eye and touch without the moulded plastic legs underneath .This item will require basic d .i .y. skills as a wooden board is needed to be cut and fixed down to the metal footwell before fitting to get your required level depending on the thickness of your rear board.(This is the same for the standard height t4 door steps to accommodate your rear boarded out bus and an offcut from your rear board is perfect) This allows you to put a thicker board in the rear of your bus ,instead of the origional step with plastic legs restricting this. The hole for the light has been blanked off which can easily be cut out again if required (see last picture)The extra depth allows your rear boarded out bus to finish perfectly with the step lip allowing an extra 12-14mm. The height with the extra depth on this item is approximately 85mm from the flat base of the step(the top of your fitted blanking board) to the underside of the top return lip (top of your flooring ).
